Our Story

PASS, the Partnership for Advancement of School Service-Providers, LLC, was established in 2007 by June Bunch, Dr. Sharon Ray, and Dr. Jan Hollenbeck in response to a request from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (MA DESE) to provide professional development for school-based occupational therapy practitioners. Recognizing a need for high-quality professional development for school-based occupational therapists, PASS launched its first summer institute that year. Since then, PASS has delivered 18 MA DESE-funded summer institutes for occupational therapists, physical therapists, related service providers, and special education personnel.

Our Commitment

Over the years, PASS has expanded its reach, partnering with districts to offer customized, on-site professional development. We support occupational and physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, team leaders, educators, and administrators in applying evidence-based practices aligned with educational law, empowering teams to make a lasting impact in Massachusetts and beyond.
